Like for example, building a 400bhp 1.6-litre engine. Details about the upcoming engine are as good as none but if the rumors are true, it will have four cylinders like most engines of this size.

In an interview with CarBuzz, the man behind the company, Christian von Koenigsegg was quoted, “By reducing the bore and elongating the stroke of the piston, we are able to lessen the heat losses from the engine. We’ve also used forged pistons, forged connecting rods, and higher quality valves that make engine as efficient as possible.”

Given that the One:1 manages to squeeze out a staggering 1,364bhp from 5.0-litre, which equates to 273bhp per litre, we can expect the 1.6-litre to have more than 400bhp. In comparsion, the latest 381bhp Mercedes-AMG A45 engine only manages a 'measly' 190bhp per litre.

Our gahmen very farsighted you know. They knew the HP per litre race would go far and fast, which is why they changed the COE cutoff to include nominal power output. So they won't lose money. After all, what's wrong with (them) collecting more money, am I right?

Road tax hasn't been similarly "adjusted" but that's just a matter of time with $ingapore.

I wondered why investment are still made in the combustion engine when autonomous vehicles and electric vehicles are going to be the norm in the not distant future.

Great to squeeze more power (BHP) from smaller engine capacity but at what cost? Does the cost of production becomes economically not viable except for a few privilege.

I wonder who they are selling the engine to?

Koenigsegg didn't mention that they will build a car to go with the engine. So who are they targeting? Lotus? Alfa Romeo (4C)? Maybe a 4WD hot hatch?

400bhp, whoa. Most likely it will be twin turbo otherwise if one big turbo imagine the turbo lag.

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

For the many amongst us who can spare neither the financial expense nor the time, however, there's no reason to fret. Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho

    Cleaning is relaxing?

Every once in awhile, I find myself watching 20-minute long videos on Youtube on something that most people will probably find quite bizarre: Carpet cleaning videos.  (This video has 5.4m views!!!!) It's... a particular kind of Youtube rabbit hole. I concede that.  However, I must say that I find such videos strangely relaxing and soothing. Beyond the ASMR component of it, I do find something quite nice about the specificity and particularity of such videos, and in some
