Red Bull Racing put new RB11 on track at Jerez

Red Bull Racing put its 2015 F1 Challenger the RB11 on track for a preliminary run at Jerez’s pre-season test. The Red Bull Racing RB11 spots a Black and White dazzle livery, which totally caught everyone with a surprise.
The Red Bull Racing RB11 features a host of improvements in all areas as the team seeks to improve on its 2014 campaign, when it took the RB10 from a difficult start to second place in the Constructors’ Championship. The most notable shape change to this year’s car is the lower nose box and front of the chassis, which were amended in line with the latest regulations, but beyond that many of the RB11’s updates are under the skin.
The team’s 2015 challenge is spearheaded by a new driver line-up, with Daniil Kvyat joining Daniel Ricciardo at the wheel of the RB11. For drivers Ricciardo and Kvyat the brief two-month wait for a return to the cockpit is over and a first taste of the RB11’s potential awaits. Ricciardo’s route to Formula 1 was more of a traditional one, retracing the steps of many that went before. When he arrived at RBR last season, the attention was still on 4-time champion Sebastien Vettel. But soon, the Australian proved himself with two fourth places, followed by a third at the Spanish GP; his first podium finish. When he took the win at the Canadian GP on his seventh outing in the RB10, the team’s attention swayed towards to him. Vettel’s consistency was going downhill at that point in time. The young Red Bull driver would bag two more wins and three more podium finishes to conclude the season in 3rd overall.
