A lane crossing over London's Tower Bridge was closed during morning rush hour after a rare Lamborghini Countach was left abandoned on it.

The white Italian sports car was spotted by Transport for London (TFL) over the famous bridge, prompting a spokesperson to ask "Anyone missing theirs?"

The photo of the abandoned car was posted to Twitter by TFL, prompting a series of responses from users.

One Twitter wrote: "If you could afford one of those you would think to remember where it was," with a second adding "someone call the eighties".

The car has a personalised UK registration plate.

The owner of the car was apparently wanted by police over harassment claims, and had left the vehicle on the bridge at about 6.30pm on Wednesday night after running out of petrol.

After tracing him via his licence plate, police discovered he was wanted on warrant for harassment, and he was arrested in the City of London.

As the car wasn’t obstructing traffic, authorities left it by the side of the road for more than 12 hours and was finally removed the next day.

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

“WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev

My favourite racing game is back!

THERE'S A NEW TOKYO XTREME RACER GAME ON THE WAYYYY!!!! This is the best news for fans of this rather understated and obscure racing game. Also known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, this is a series of racing games by Genki, a Japanese game company that was founded in 1990. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is one of the most popular game in the series as it features many cars, opponents and an extensive map For those that have never heard of these games, I'll give you a quick run-down.
