Mercedes-Benz has been teasing about its new GT sports car for a while now. While it hasn't let the cat out of the bag yet, the marque continues to taunt with a video showing off the soundtrack from the next-gen 4.0-litre V8 engine.

Conceived to replace the SLS, the new GT will be smaller in dimensions and more 'affordable' than the outgoing model. Likewise, the engine will also be shrunk - from a 6.2-litre V8 to a 4.0-litre V8 unit. The people at Mercedes-AMG, has however, assured us that the new block will be as great-sounding as the previous - if not more. The new engine will also feature a total of four driving modes, each with its own distinctive sound signature.

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. On a recent podcast episode, this hilarious nugget of information was brought up: "Zebras have the loudest farts".  What.  I have spent some time Googling this, and I cannot yet definitely verify the accuracy of this statement. But there is some scientific basis to it - zebras are hindgut fermenters, and there's a whole bunch of biology behind it but the important takeaway is that yes, zebras fart plenty. This also explains their 'bum-heavy' shape, similar to cows, horses, el

    Disconnecting from Our Virtual Reality

Recently, I had a scare at work. My laptop was suddenly unable to access the Internet despite working fine the entire day. A check with IT showed that the browser I was using, Arc, had somehow triggered the Falcon cybersecurity program, which promptly locked down my laptop despite the browser having worked fine for almost a year at that point. While I thankfully had cleared out my video backlog before it happened (most of them pending approval, a couple ready to publish), I was unable

Christmas colours: What do they actually mean?

The members of the Sgcarmart media team recently put its heads together to prepare something special and festive for our readers and viewers - which you can both read about and watch on Instagram - and as we were sitting down to plan things out, we were faced at one point with a deceptively simple question: What are the different meanings behind the colours we associate with Christmas?  In my very non-expert eyes, three distinct colours stand out: Red, green and white primarily,
