VW Golf Variant Youngster 5000. Not your usual VW.
VW Golf Variant Youngster 5000. Not your usual VW.

Mention fast wagons and usually you will hear people talk about Audis and Volvos. But things may change with the creation of this Golf Variant Youngster 5000 study. While this car is only a product thought out by a group of six youngsters from VW's Zwickau plant, the changes done to this Golf Variant are not over the top. Which also means we could see a Golf R Variant soon?
Anyway, highlights of this spruced up Variant include the bright Arancio argos pearl front and rear bumpers from the Golf R and new black wheels.
Power comes from the Golf GTI's 2.0-litre engine which has been fettled by them to give 315bhp. A Bilstein suspension that allows the driver to control different settings from an iPhone has been added into the car to keep body control in check when things get hot.
Wondering how the car got its name? A iPad-controlled sound system with an output of about 5000 Watts resides in the rear of the car.
