Shell is once again driving value for motorists in Singapore with its 'WinWithShell' promotion from the 19th of May until the 13th of July.

Shell Escape members who spend at least $50 on Shell fuels and spot the winning message on the back of their receipts will instantly win the equivalent of their fuel purchase. Shell will match the amount spent - dollar for dollar - rounded up to the nearest $10.

Moreover, customers who pay with their Citibank credit cards will win double the amount spent.

Winning Shell Escape members are also entitled to be one of the 20 lucky winners to walk away with additional $100 in fuel vouchers.

All they have to do is upload a selfie, or a picture captured by the cashier, of their win, onto their Instagram or Twitter account accompanied by the hashtag #WinWithShell. They could also email the photo with their name, NRIC and contact number to [email protected].

Participating entries, along with terms and conditions, for the promotion can be viewed at Shell's website.

There are plenty of strange sports in this world. People running from bulls. People running after cheese. Power Slap.  But of course few places do weird quite like Japan. Introducing to you: Bo-taoshi.  The name means 'topple the pole', and that's exactly the name of the game. Except of course its never quite so simple.  You want teams? Oh, you get teams. 150 players, split into 75 offensive and 75 defensive - one holding your pole up, the other attacking another team to topple th

    Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

    Cleaning is relaxing?

Every once in awhile, I find myself watching 20-minute long videos on Youtube on something that most people will probably find quite bizarre: Carpet cleaning videos.  (This video has 5.4m views!!!!) It's... a particular kind of Youtube rabbit hole. I concede that.  However, I must say that I find such videos strangely relaxing and soothing. Beyond the ASMR component of it, I do find something quite nice about the specificity and particularity of such videos, and in some
