You could have repaired your aircon or at least topped up the gas in Penang. Driving without aircon in the rain risks fogging up the interior of the windshield (which opening the window may not be enough).

How did dog poo end up on your windscreen?

The last time I did a long drive up north in my chevrolet aveo, the air-con also died on me on the way back. But it was not the gas problem. The mechanic said that the compressor needs to be replaced as I should have added lubricating oil to the compressor bearings before my long trip.

Till now, I still dunnoe add what oil, and add it where.

Good point there. Lucky for me, the aircon was only down on the way up. My trip back home it was perfectly fine.

Nice article on the Ignis man. I bought an Ignis for my wife 2 years back, was driving a civic. Recently sold the civic. Now living with the Ignis as our only car. Brought it to sepang a month back. Looovvveeee it. Now planning on extending the coe (expires in sept this yr). I know, lots of people say i stupid. But I have driven a few car and none is this chuckable and no FF car will ever be this light.

Just had a new paint job and re-upholstered the seats and trims with leather, a new momo wheel, Schroth ASM belts for track and akan datang dixel replacement rotors and rubber/trim pieces to replace the aging ones!

When i saw this article a month back, i just came from Penang by air. Flew there to visit relatives and rented a Saga at the airport. Was driving the mountain roads eating durains and trust me, i wondered what it would be like to have driven up instead with our ignis. You made that dream come true virtually. Swee!
