http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rxW_3ZAVHcKen Block's Gymkhana series still hasn't grown old for us, perhaps because it pleases the inner child we never quite managed to outgrow. But now the world has a new challenge: Supercar Gymkhana.

In this case, it's Lambokhana, as Daily Driven Exotics' Damon Fryer takes this Gallardo out for a tire-punishing spin around a homemade gymkhana course.

Is it as fast as Block's rally car? No. Are the props and stunts as off-the-charts mental? Nope. Are those moving donuts around a rolling tire awesome? You betcha.

Bottom line: if you've ever wanted to see a Lamborghini getting thrown around in a gnarly industrial lot, powersliding its tires into oblivion, this is your video.

The gymkhana is starting to get pointless to me.

I watch it for the stunts performed, and now they are doing the same stunts over and over again abeit with different cars. *Yawnz...

  • Manchester United's "promising" transfer window should be taken with a pinch of salt

Having followed this club for more than 20 years, I'm well aware that a promising transfer window does not directly equate to an improved season. Forwards Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, as well as Diego Leon, the young Paraguayan wing-back, have been Manchester United's signings for the 2025 summer transfer window so far. On paper, this team should have no problem challenging for silverware. On the pitch, the current crop of players finished 15th last season. While both Cunha and Mbeumo ha

The enduring charm of Singapore wet markets

I know I’m idealising it all - as a not-so-young millennial that can’t remember the last time he cooked a full meal for himself. (That was probably a good two years ago.) But moving on slightly from morning walks now, the space I’ve found myself frequenting when I feel like I need a break from the routines of everyday life (or to simply clear my head) isn’t the park. It’s the basement level of Punggol Plaza. That a wet market even exists here should be surprising. Punggol, after all, is qui

How are we already in June?

During lunch with my mother a couple of weeks back over yong tau foo, I was asked about my opinion on the latest NDP song. And of course, as expected of any chronically insular millennial, my reaction was: “Huh? There’s a new NDP song?” But of course there is. And I say this not to disparage the wonderful songwriters and musicians that provide an anthem to remember the nation’s birthday by annually, but to knock into my own mind the harsh reality: We’re already in mid-June.  It fe

    Musings about the Pomodoro Method

In a hyper-connected mega-city, where time seems to tick at a relentlessly brisk pace and where distractions are aplenty, pondering the art of productivity and focus is inevitable. In fact, it’s almost become a necessity. No wonder so many listicles have been written to point us in the right directions. Different methods works for different folks, of course, and when I was in my final year of university, I was introduced to a method that I regularly return to still: The Pomodoro Method, a d
