The new XE will go head on with the BMW 3 Series and Lexus IS, as well as other worthy contenders in the compact sedan segment when it goes on sale in 2015. It also promises to be the most technologically advanced, featuring a lightweight aluminium construction as demonstrated on the C-X17 concept, as well as a new range of 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel powerplants.

Tata took a failing brand, Jaguar and Land Rover and is making it into a success story. Fantastic.

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. Downtown East spans a total of 147,000sqm and was officially opened on 5 November 2000 (according to Wikipedia). For those residing in the far east of Pasir Ris, this is likely to be their port of call for the grocery run (the other typical location being Loyang East). But just how g

Titan's Fall: Back to Square One

Manchester United have once again signalled a restart with the sacking of Ten Hag, and just days later, announced the appointment of Ruben Amorim, who will join midway through the first half of the current season from Sporting Lisbon. Back to square one yet again for the Red Devils who, despite being one of the most successful clubs in England and biggest clubs in the world, have not won a league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. Since then, they’ve gone through a whole ho
