A statement on the actor’s Facebook page said he was a passenger in a friend’s car, and that Walker was in the area to attend a charity event for his organisation Reach Out Worldwide.

According to fire officials, the single vehicle crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. local time in the Rye Canyon Business Park.

A red Porsche struck a light pole and a tree. Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

A message posted late Saturday on Walker’s official Facebook page read: ”We too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time.”

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Traffic Services Detail and County Coroner are investigating the cause of the accident.

It said deputies found a car engulfed in flames when they responded to a report of a collision. Images showed the burned-out wreckage of a red Porsche sports car by the side of the road.

Universal Pictures also issued a statement, saying studio staff were "heartbroken" by Walker's death.

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. If one didn't know better, you'd think it was the dream destination on this planet. While I love the food, the service and the shopping, the sheer number of tourists (me included) has become a turn-off. I'm not talking about those who inconven

My favourite racing game is back!

THERE'S A NEW TOKYO XTREME RACER GAME ON THE WAYYYY!!!! This is the best news for fans of this rather understated and obscure racing game. Also known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, this is a series of racing games by Genki, a Japanese game company that was founded in 1990. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is one of the most popular game in the series as it features many cars, opponents and an extensive map For those that have never heard of these games, I'll give you a quick run-down. The Music that Shaped Me, Pt. 1

Some of my colleagues will know that I make electronic music outside of work and school. A stark contrast from the impression I give off (several people throughout my teenage years told me I seemed more like a classical guy). Truth be told, I wasn’t always into music. Growing up in an average Singaporean Chinese household, my main sources were either the sporadic exposure to radio stations, or more frequently the theme songs of whatever was playing on KidsCentral/Okto (RIP free-to-air kids

We happy few, we Band of Brothers

It is safe to say that one way or another, the majority of Singaporean men have served their country. Be it sleeping in the jungles of Mandai, walking the beat on the streets of Clarke Quay on New Year’s Eve, or putting out fires (literally) clad in heavy protective gear, most local and naturalised male citizens have given up, as the song goes, “two years of our time”. But many have differing views of National Service. Some see it as a hindrance, a waste of time. Some see it as an opportuni
