Having won the World Rally Championship (WRC) nine times in a row, Sebastien Loeb is widely regarded as the most successful rally racer ever. However, he has already made plans forward after the current season.

Loeb's 2013 run in the WRC was on a limited schedule (sounds like part-time if you ask us). The versatile racing driver has decided to take part in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) next year, piloting the Citroen C-Elysee WTCC race car. He will also take part in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) at the season's final race in Macau. While the future looks bright for the talented driver, things didn't look too well at his last WRC career race in France.

At the first stage of the final day of competition at the Rally of France, Loeb crashed and landed top down in the forest. Fortunately, both Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena came out of the wreckage unhurt.

  • Christmas colours: What do they actually mean?

The members of the Sgcarmart media team recently put its heads together to prepare something special and festive for our readers and viewers - which you can both read about and watch on Instagram - and as we were sitting down to plan things out, we were faced at one point with a deceptively simple question: What are the different meanings behind the colours we associate with Christmas?  In my very non-expert eyes, three distinct colours stand out: Red, green and white primarily,

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev

    Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

    The Act of Creation

“WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and
