Soon after the official release of the 2014 Mazda3 hatchback, a photo of the sedan form has been leaked. The photo shows the D-pillar of the new Mazda3 sedan. While the authenticity of the photo cannot be confirmed, it looked quite realistic.

The taillight design is similar to the hatchback's although slight modifications can be observed upon close inspection. The boot lid spoiler adds a sporty touch to the compact sedan.

Engine choices should be identical to those of the hatchback. They include a 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-G with 99bhp; a 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G with outputs of 118bhp/155bhp/162bhp depending on market; a 2.5-litre SKYACTIV-G with 184bhp and a 2.2-litre SKYACTIV-D with 148bhp.

The lightweight and highly rigid SKYACTIV-BODY increases rigidity by approximately 30 percent as compared to the outgoing model, with a dual brace structure that suppresses body deformation when cornering. The aerodynamic body achieves a drag coefficient of 0.275 for the hatchback (below) and 0.255 for the sedan.

The Hiroshima-based carmaker conveyed that the MazdaSpeed3 is under development and the sedan's debut is not far away.

  • Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

Skoda Singapore offered Mycarforum members the opportunity to take the all-new Kodiaq out for a spin and learn all about the car. Working together with Sgcarmart and Mycarforum, Skoda Singapore organised a cozy sharing session in its showroom located at 26 Leng Kee Road. Mycarforum members were invited to the showroom to get up close with the all-new Skoda Kodiaq at this Mycarforum Hangout event. The event was kicked off on an upbeat note with an opening address by Mr.

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f

    Relaxing to restoration videos

There are tons of YouTube videos one could watch to unwind and decompress at the end of the day, perhaps while having dinner. You could watch one of those nature documentaries, travel vlogs featuring beautiful beaches, or perhaps a cooking show. But there's something strangely therapeutic about watching restoration videos. And the channel I find myself drawn to is Fumicho Restoration, a channel full of videos of old motorcycles being repaired and essentially reborn. I'm not even familiar wi
