The Lexus LFA needs no introduction. Limited to 500 examples, the last Lexus LFA left the Motomachi assembly line back on 14th December 2012. It was delivered in March 2013 subsequently.

Now, Lexus has produced a video to pay tribute to the V10 supercar. Towards the end of the video, Lexus states that the end of production of the LFA is only the beginning for Lexus. The luxury car maker claims that the materials, knowledge and techniques used in the LFA will live on in future Lexus vehicles.

The LFA features a 552bhp 4.8-litre V10 engine and a carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) body. The engine is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. The CFRP materials account for 65 percent of the LFA's body composition by mass. A circuit-tuned variant debuted in 2012, and is the most expensive Japanese road car ever built.

I've also been fortunate enough to have had opportunities to spend time in various remote landscapes, far away from the vicious machine of modern civilization. It's never truly wild, but it's a stark contrast to the glass-
