The above video is a detailed review of the 2013 Ford Fusion EcoBoost. The Fusion is a mid-sized sedan for the American market. Why bother with a car not destined for Singapore, you may ask. Unlike the previous generation Fusion, the latest model is actually a twin sibling of the all-new Ford Mondeo.

When the new Mondeo arrives in Singapore, the 1.6-litre EcoBoost will likely be the best selling variant due to the local consumers' "Big body, small engine" mentality.

The video starts with a walkaround over the car's exterior followed by the interior, paying close attention to details such as the styling cues and plastic quality. The review ends with a test drive in a local town. You can hear the sporty note of the force-fed lump in the cabin of the vehicle.

The main difference between the Mondeo and the Fusion is that the US model is equipped with a torque-convertor automatic transmission whereas the Mondeo is fitted with the more advanced six-speed dual-clutch Powershift.

The approach of the year-end holidays often also means the annual pilgrimage Singaporeans take to Japan to soothe their souls after a long year will soon kick into high season. For the many amongst us who can spare neither the financial expense nor the time, however, there's no reason to fret. Allow the mind some space to wander, and one will find there are many places on our sunny island tha

    Relaxing to restoration videos

There are tons of YouTube videos one could watch to unwind and decompress at the end of the day, perhaps while having dinner. You could watch one of those nature documentaries, travel vlogs featuring beautiful beaches, or perhaps a cooking show. But there's something strangely therapeutic about watching restoration videos. And the channel I find myself drawn to is Fumicho Restoration, a channel full of videos of old motorcycles being repaired and essentially reborn. I'm not even familiar wi

ERP 2.0: Possible positions for your processing unit

Your OBU's processing unit isn't always mounted on the passenger footwell. Depending on the car that you drive, more than one option may be available! Since November 2023, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has been gradually replacing in-vehicle units (IUs) with the new on-board units (OBU). The OBU will pave the way for smoother traffic as we transition to the new ERP 2.0 system that is based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology.  The OBU comprises three parts: An

    Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a
