Ferrari has been labelled many things but we doubt family friendly is one of them. Yes the Ferrari FF and many Gran Tourers before it, seats four comfortably but any other car could do that job as well.

There is the Aston Martin Rapide, Porsche Panamera, Bentley Continental Flying Spur or even the Maserati Quattroporte. But what if - out of industry pressure or the Ferrari bosses got hit in the head and started coming out with ideas like a Ferrari 4x4 or Ferrari Sports Utility Vehicle and in the process decided to do up a proper four door supercar like the Lamborghini Estoque.

Well Automotive designer Alex Imnadze has done just that. Dubbed the Ferrari Quattroporte, which is lifted from Maserati, the design study mixes design cues from several current Ferrari models like the FF and the F12berlinetta though the overall shape and face reminds me of the 612 Scalegetti.

The flowy lines with a sloping roofline covers the four doors quite nicely thought the rear doors are a tad narrow. Though Imnadze doesn't provide a description for the car, the proportions, lack of air vents on the side and the rear panels, point to a front-engine, rear wheel drive configuration.

What do you guys think?

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

The best covers are the ones you don't expect

I'm not a fan of Christmas.  Let's first set aside the unclear and potentially contentious origins of this particular 'holiday', and my general apathy towards religiosity. (Christians celebrate it as the day of Jesus' birth, though some evidence suggests his actual birth was in the spring. Some historians also note that the Christian traditions of Christmas can be traced back to Pagan roots and the Saturnalia festival, and the chosen 25 December date was an attempt by church leaders to appr

    The Act of Creation

“WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and

    Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho
