German tuners Regula Tuning have released their pre-facelift Audi R8 tuning kit named - Grandoise. It is made of a material called aramid (aromatic polyamide) which essentially a type of a fiberglass alloy used in the aerospace and military industries for ballistic protection.

Right - so we have a supercar fit for Tony Stark when he is visiting the Middle East next time then. I am rather interested to know if military grade body kits could protect its occupants better in a crash. I mean they can dodge a couple of hand grenade's don't they?

The kit has transformed the already handsome R8 into an aggressive road monster. The new look complements the power.

The kit runs on 20 inch Oxigin wheels wearing 235/30 R20 at the front and 295/25 R20 at the rear. Performance modifications are limited but Regula tuning is offering a chip tuning for the engine up to 560bhp. The body kit is available for the V10 version, as well as V8 Spyder (from May 2010) and Coupe.

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. If one didn't know better, you'd think it was the dream destination on this planet. While I love the food, the service and the shopping, the sheer number of tourists (me included) has become a turn-off. I'm not talking about those who inconven

The Music that Shaped Me, Pt. 1

Some of my colleagues will know that I make electronic music outside of work and school. A stark contrast from the impression I give off (several people throughout my teenage years told me I seemed more like a classical guy). Truth be told, I wasn’t always into music. Growing up in an average Singaporean Chinese household, my main sources were either the sporadic exposure to radio stations, or more frequently the theme songs of whatever was playing on KidsCentral/Okto (RIP free-to-air kids

My favourite racing game is back!

THERE'S A NEW TOKYO XTREME RACER GAME ON THE WAYYYY!!!! This is the best news for fans of this rather understated and obscure racing game. Also known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, this is a series of racing games by Genki, a Japanese game company that was founded in 1990. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is one of the most popular game in the series as it features many cars, opponents and an extensive map For those that have never heard of these games, I'll give you a quick run-down. Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho
