Recently, Datuk Lee Chong Wei, a Malaysian professional badminton player, wed his girlfriend of 11 years, Datin Wong Mew Choo. As a sport car lover, Lee ensured that his wedding entourage is no less impressive than his Olympics achievements.

From the video, his wedding entourage consists of a couple of Bentley Continental Flying Spur sedans, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Even the traffic police was activated to ensure law and order during the wedding proceedings.

The first sports car that Lee owned is the Nissan GT-R. By winning a silver medal in the 2012 London Olympics, Lee was awarded RM 300,000 plus a life-long pension of RM 3,000 a month via the Malaysian government's Sports Incentive Scheme. In addition, The Star Media Group, a division of Toronto Star Newspapers Ltd, gave Lee RM100,000. Lee also won a silver media back in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Lee's wife is also a badminton player who retired from the sport in 2011.

  • Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev

    Maps

The world map is a lie.  Well, sort of. If you think of a 2D, rectangular world map, the image that comes to mind is what's called a Mercator projection: It's... a map, no doubt, but with some very obvious distortions. The most obvious one being Antarctica, which seems like almost another planet, as well as Greenland being absolutely massive and seemingly the same size as Africa, when it is in fact 1/14 the size.  Representing a 3D sphere (Earth) on a 2D surface is fundament

    Still learning to let go

I believe that you need to let go of things in life to make room for new experiences. It sounds hypocritical coming from a former hoarder like me, but it is quite possibly the most important lesson I've learnt these past two years. Decluttering or tidying up is cathartic. That's why I feel clearing out your house can improve your life. Like many, I discovered this before moving into my BTO, as my better half and I attempted to clear out our guest room. Horrifyingly, it had become 'The

    DENZA D9: True Flagship Excellence

What makes something a flagship? Flagship products represent the very best of a brand. Whether it's cars, electronic products, even services, a 'flagship' is core to a brand experience, as well as to the brand's image. Besides just delivering all the tangible features and functionality offered by the brand, a flagship product is also a showcase of the intangible - about what a brand stands for, and what it aims to deliver to customers. DENZA, a BYD Premium Brand, has now been officiall
