If you were to ask someone what mass produced auto brand symbolizes the word luxury and you're most likely to hear Mercedes-Benz. Not surprising because when it comes to luxury design in the automotive industry, Mercedes is undeniably one of the best. From the cabin space right up to the exterior styling, a Mercedes just exhumes touches of luxury.

Mercedes knows that well too and their design department has brought their unmistakable styling and high quality standards to the Milan Furniture Fair with a collection of designer furniture.

Mercedes Benz has collaborated with Formitalia Luxury Group, a leading Italian furniture manufacturer to create a collection of furniture under the Mercedes Benz Style label. According to Gorden Wagener, head of design at Mercedes Benz, both Formitalia and Mercedes Benz stand for top quality and exquisite workmanship which embodies luxury and passion. The company is pleased to work with Formitalia in creating the first Mercedes Benz Style furniture collection.

Design can be copied but the feel and materials cannot.

Anyone who has been shopping for furniture would know this. There is a reason why some sofa and couches cost $20k, tables cost $10k and it is not just the brand or the European wage costs. You really get what you pay for.

  • Sgcarmart Explores: Japan Edition (ft. the Nissan Ariya)!

The approach of the year-end holidays often also means the annual pilgrimage Singaporeans take to Japan to soothe their souls after a long year will soon kick into high season. (Just open any of your social media applications - Instagram, Facebook or TikTok - and you'll see.) For the many amongst us who can spare neither the financial expense nor the time, however, there's no reason to fret. Allow the mind some space to wander, and one will find there are many places on our sunny island tha

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 5)

There are plenty of strange sports in this world. People running from bulls. People running after cheese. Power Slap.  But of course few places do weird quite like Japan. Introducing to you: Bo-taoshi.  The name means 'topple the pole', and that's exactly the name of the game. Except of course its never quite so simple.  You want teams? Oh, you get teams. 150 players, split into 75 offensive and 75 defensive - one holding your pole up, the other attacking another team to topple th

    Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

    Still learning to let go

I believe that you need to let go of things in life to make room for new experiences. It sounds hypocritical coming from a former hoarder like me, but it is quite possibly the most important lesson I've learnt these past two years. Decluttering or tidying up is cathartic. That's why I feel clearing out your house can improve your life. Like many, I discovered this before moving into my BTO, as my better half and I attempted to clear out our guest room. Horrifyingly, it had become 'The
