Honda is a car manufacturer that has always been toying with the idea of CVT transmission. Back in 1995, the Japanese automaker introduced the Multimatic CVT gearbox in the EK Civics. Coming back to 2012, Honda has announced the development of a new CVT transmission for midsized vehicles that claims to improve fuel economy and driving performance.
