About 2 years ago, PUB mentioned that a serious flood in Orchard Road that happened on 19 Nov 2009 occurs once every 50 years. 2 years on, it appeared that the assumption is not true and this year

i used to despise SUV drivers, think they are fuel-wasting, view-blocking, aholes,

but now i see the need for real SUV's that have high air-intake and exhaust so

they can go through flash-flooded roads w/o drowning [laugh]

    Relaxing to restoration videos

    There are tons of YouTube videos one could watch to unwind and decompress at the end of the day, perhaps while having dinner. You could watch one of those nature documentaries, travel vlogs featuring beautiful beaches, or perhaps a cooking show. But there's something strangely therapeutic about watching restoration videos.     A right-handers world

    I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed.     The world map is a lie.  Well, sort of.
