Peugeot is stepping it up...

A few weeks ago, a former colleague of mine told me about Peugeot bringing in a very interesting piece some time this year. It wasn't until recently that she managed to give me a name for that new model. It's the Peugeot RCZ. The model name sounds more appropriate for one of my RC cars but that aside, the car is absolutely stunning!

Those voluptuous curves look like an automotive representation of how Liv Tyler would be if she had four wheels and an engine. On closer inspection though you start to see some subtle hints of the Audi TT's design cues. Just to add to the individuality, Peugeot will be offering owners a choice of different trims to go with their posemobile. Including an option for a carbon fibre roof, roof arches in different colours (like matt black, polished black, dark grey, diamante) and black lacquered body parts at the front, carbon door mirror covers, bodywork detailing.

Peugeot is selling it as a 2+2 and we all know what that means right? It's essentially a two seater with a pair of child seats in the back. The kind of seats where you only put kids that are not your own. Despite the refreshingly sensuous curves, the car is still mostly 308 underneath.

Power is derived from a 1.6-litre turbocharged unit that churns out 156bhp at 5800rpm. Like I said earlier, this is more of a posemobile than an all out performance model from the French manufacturer. But with such good looks, why would you want be a flash of insignificance when you can take in the admiring glances as you take your time to cruise by?

Nevertheless I can't wait to get my hands on this Pug considering how much fun I had shooting the equally pretty 308CC awhile back.

Peugeot has been developing RC series concept cars for quite some time already. Previous RC concepts were radical in design and even had diesel engines but no intention of production. This one on the other hand is likely to make it to production.

really TT like appearance.. but the roof design (with 2 bulges) really makes the car looks more exclusive and expensive..... how come audi didn't think of this? ..the glass must be very expensive ....hehe

  • A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the

    Fascinated by honey

If there's one natural food (aka can be eaten raw) that I absolutely love, it's honey. Yes, there are countless varieties from around the world, but for this story, we'll talk about the kind that comes straight out of a hive, complete with honeycomb. I'm not an expert on this topic, but every time I consume raw, unprocessed honey, it tastes a lot better compared to honey that comes in a jar. No squeeze-bottle honey for me, please. Perhaps it's just my imagination, but raw honey doesn't

Less caffeine leads to more dreams

There's nothing like a double espresso to kickstart your morning, especially if it's extracted from medium- or dark-roasted beans. What a tasty way to begin the day. I enjoy coffee, but I'm not a caffeine addict so it's not a must for me to consume. In fact, lately, I've only been drinking it once or twice a week - doing this ensures that when I do drink it (to power my way through a hectic day), the caffeine kick will be well and truly felt. I did not stop drinking coffee thrice a day

The fun in collecting postcards without (really ever) sending them

I believe I may not be alone when I say that I’m quite the avid collector of postcards, but rarely ever send them out to family or friends. To some, this might seem counterintuitive, even wasteful. But for me, these miniature works of art serve a different purpose. They're windows into distant lands; time capsules of bygone eras; and conversation starters par excellence. In fact, in a city as fast-paced as Singapore, where our lives often revolve around our vehicles and the next destination
