This must be the most famous BMW 1 Series M coupe (or bodykitted 1 Series Coupe) in the world today. The reason I am stating so is that it has been featured in not one, not two but about five automotive forums, blogs and websites. The thing that makes it a worthwhile feature on Myautoblog.org is the fact that this ultra scary, ugly or ___________ (fill in the blank with what you think it is) BMW 1 Series coupe is that is hails from good ol' Singapore.

So far this 1 Series coupe has made its appearance on worldcarfans.com, teamspeed.com, bmwblog.com, whatadrive.blogspot.com, bmwforum malaysia and facebook appearances. Could this monster be a viral phenomenon or an internet hit? Does anyone over in Mycarforum's forums know the chap who owns this beastly, ghastly toothpaste white 1 Series coupe? If you do, keep the information to yourself. I rather admire his masterpiece from afar.

Where did he get his inspiration from? The different coloured M power homage rims front and rear, the liquidpaper white-out head lights and tail lights and that roof spoiler from a 1990s Ford Escort Cosworth must have been concocted after one of those weekly beer sessions coupled with prescription drugs and slightly dubious a.k.a very illegal substances to get a little tipsy. Are those light mods even legal in the first place?

I know I am being a little extreme. But I honestly cannot help it. But let's look on the bright side. This car has made the Singapore tuning scene famous. Or totally infamous.

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

    The Act of Creation

“WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and

    Disconnecting from Our Virtual Reality

Recently, I had a scare at work. My laptop was suddenly unable to access the Internet despite working fine the entire day. A check with IT showed that the browser I was using, Arc, had somehow triggered the Falcon cybersecurity program, which promptly locked down my laptop despite the browser having worked fine for almost a year at that point. While I thankfully had cleared out my video backlog before it happened (most of them pending approval, a couple ready to publish), I was unable

Christmas colours: What do they actually mean?

The members of the Sgcarmart media team recently put its heads together to prepare something special and festive for our readers and viewers - which you can both read about and watch on Instagram - and as we were sitting down to plan things out, we were faced at one point with a deceptively simple question: What are the different meanings behind the colours we associate with Christmas?  In my very non-expert eyes, three distinct colours stand out: Red, green and white primarily,
