I'm sure you would have read the news of this guy in the US who built a Bugatti Veyron replica by hand, by recrafting his Mecury Cougar coupe.

(In case you don't know what a Mercury Cougar is, here's a picture)

Now, while tastes can be questioned, you have to admire his effort. Apparently, the man behind the project, Mike Duff, took nine months to completely reshape his car, from a dull American coupe, into an exotic French supercar. Well, at least in looks anyway.

Under the bonnet, the car is still a wheezy 2.5-litre V6 with 170bhp, or less than 20% of the Veyron's 1000bhp.

However, the converted 'Veyron' can actually sit four. And guess what, it can be yours!

The car is available for sale on eBay, and if you have US$79,000 lying around, and somewhere in the US to keep it, this unique creation is up for grabs.

Any takers?

  • A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the

Why oolong tea could be the superior drink of choice at lunch

Coffee - without sugar! - has long been (and still is) my go-to option to accompany my lunch. Amidst a larger 2025 goal of reducing the number of cups of kopi-o kosong I gulp down a week, however, I’ve recently thought about how my lunch experience can be switched up slightly with yet another sugarless drink: A can, or indeed bottle of oolong tea. Oolong tea is said to offer a perfect balance of flavour and functionality - perfect not just for complementing one's meal but also reinvigo

Cordless vacuum cleaners: A young adult's best friend?

Every young adult probably arrives at the same point when they’ve started working for a few years: Household chores start to become more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong – they don’t have to be one’s favourite activity on earth. But chores start to make sense: An environment that’s put-together is always a welcome haven, whether it’s returning home after a long day out, or simply staying in over the weekend (or when you’re working from home.) As a young adult myself, I've come to appreciate an

The Music that Shaped Me, Pt. 2

Note: If you’ve stumbled onto this post without any context, do read Pt. 1 here first! It is said that the average person’s music taste starts to solidify early on in their adult lives, and by their early 30s they will begin to say things like “Music was better in my day”, “>insert your favourite artist or genre< is not real music”, something to that effect. Of course, I am speaking generally. With four more years to go till I hit 30, I’d like to think I try to expand my tastes o
