Ford had a successful run with the Focus and the model is currently available in a variety of body styles including a five-door hatchback, a four-door sedan and a station wagen. Now, the American automaker plans to take the 2013 Ford Focus to the next level and that means going to a designer for a modern sportier look with a new body style.

Enter the world of independent designer David Cardoso, whose previous work on conceptual studies includes the Renault Twist, Audi Hydron concept, Cobalt coupe and the Mitsubishi Flexis. Cardoso rendered a sporty compact-sized coupe based on the latest Focus with which Ford could compete with the likes of the Peugeot RCZ, VW Scirocco and Audi TT. The 2013 Ford Focus Coupe concept is a 2+2 seat concept car. It has an aggressive styling that is inspired by the European Focus. Like most sports cars, the 2013 Ford Focus Coupe concept will have a lower ground clearance than the standard version to provide an aerodynamic look and stability at high speed. The C pillar of the concept model resembles that of the Nissan 370Z, which is not a bad thing.

I am looking forward to the concept materializing into actual production. If fitted with Ford

  • Explaining the intricacies of writing in footballing terms

Boil it down to the bare bones, and anybody can write. I mean, we all had to write compositions for our exams in primary and secondary school. And for those who have gone on to university, some projects require a hefty amount of writing and quoting peer reviewed sources (I still get Vietnam flashbacks when I see "et al"). But crafting a story with a proper flow is another skill altogether. In all honesty, who wants to read a story that may be hitting all the right points yet sounds so borin
