Last weekend, I took bus CT 18 from the bus stop near my flat to Chinatown. The waiting time for CT 18 can be quite long as its frequency is not very regular. I decided to find myself a seat at the bus stop. There are two rows of benches at the bus stop

These are essentially a bum-rest, not quite meant to be a bench. So It make sense to have it slightly tilted. But why some are tilted and some are not...maybe LTA also couldn't make up their mind if these are meant to be bum-rest or bench.

if it's really the case, shouldn't the authorities do something about the homeless guy? like getting him into a job or whatever to earn himself a roof instead of coming up with such designs where 1 couldn't stand or sit against it properly?

just my point of view.

They should have made the bum-rest slightly lower. I'm 1.73m but when I try to keep myself from sliding in a position as described, my feet can't touch the ground.

Is my first time yesterday that I had step into a bus-stop after about 15 years . Didn't even noticed that the seats have became slanted bench . Tried sitting on it , is really not comfortable at all . Maybe I'm short .

In addition , the new fleet of buses are all equipped with cameras internally and externally . All out to catch those passengers for not paying the fares and drivers that went into their bus lane . So scary ....

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. If one didn't know better, you'd think it was the dream destination on this planet. While I love the food, the service and the shopping, the sheer number of tourists (me included) has become a turn-off. I'm not talking about those who inconven

    The Joys of Morning Walks

Like most other folks stuck in the rut of smartphone-hyper-use, I recently caught myself doing the same each morning: Waking up to immediately reach for my phone. Reflecting on the first quarter of the year, however – and realising that I’ve been subconsciously plunged into an extended bout of languidness – brought me to the realisation: Perhaps it's time to embrace a different routine. One that started with stepping outside into the crisp morning air, and feeling the gentle warmth of

    Armored MMA

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a brutal sport that, in recent decades, has grown to significant prominence.  Whatever you make of the sport (and the often complicated and sometimes problematic climate that swirls around it), there's no denying its popularity, driven in large part by the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) brand - a multi-billion-dollar global enterprise.  But if partially-clothed men/women beating the s*it out of each other is not quite your thing, may I interest you in

Why oolong tea could be the superior drink of choice at lunch

Coffee - without sugar! - has long been (and still is) my go-to option to accompany my lunch. Amidst a larger 2025 goal of reducing the number of cups of kopi-o kosong I gulp down a week, however, I’ve recently thought about how my lunch experience can be switched up slightly with yet another sugarless drink: A can, or indeed bottle of oolong tea. Oolong tea is said to offer a perfect balance of flavour and functionality - perfect not just for complementing one's meal but also reinvigo
