General Motors unveiled the Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show and a new report is indicating that the model is headed for production.

 

The Aveo has turned into the Sonic since then and according to GM Inside News, the hatchback will reportedly see a more aggressive body kit, a revised suspension and beefier brakes. It could be powered by a turbocharged version of Chevy

    Japan is weird. I love it (Part 6)

    Fireflies. Not a topic I think about often, if at all, but here we are.  On a recent podcast episode, I learnt that the light that fireflies emit is nearly 100% efficient. That's amazing (nature generally is).     Ok, the title might be slightly misleading, but there is still a Japan-link.  So, pufferfish. Specifically, a wikipedia entry called Pufferfish mating ritual.  Long story short, one particular species of pufferfish make complex geometric circles in the sand to attract a mate.
