Safety issues. On raining days, many people will turn off. So, imagine all turning the aircon vents off...

 

Think it's a wise move for them to alternate the "switch".

Kangadrool is correct; this is to prevent the possibility that all vents are closed.

 

My grip is actually, why can't there be some intelligence and use some thermostat? We boast that we've looong bus, euro-V compliant bus, lower-step bus, but where is a simple climate control?

 

"Lower-step" benefits how many percent of the ridership?

Climate control benefits how many percent of the ridership?

I think the aircon diffusers are designed by the bus manufacturer. What can SMRT do?
