Cam car and BMW driver ‘play mother’ during a confrontation along the CTE road shoulder

TL;DR - Cam car and BMW gets into a heated argument over trivial dispute and hurls vulgarities at each other incessantly.    Want to brush up on your Hokkien? Learn from these two ‘laojiaos’!  Watch this 6-minute video to see two men hurling profanities incessantly. Fierce.  What happened?  The cam-car reported that he was traveling along Yio Chu Kang when the BMW PHV cut into his lane abruptly. He honked at the driver to avoid collision (allegedly), but t

Punch also cannot wake up: Driver 'dozes off' on the road

TL;DR - A passerby punched and slapped a driver who presumably fell asleep behind the wheel.  This is what happens when the Z monsters creep up on you while you’re on the road.  Watch this 54-second video of a lady who knocked out in her car and got whacked awake by a passerby.  So what happened? A female driver was found sleeping in her Honda Vezel at the roadside in Hougang. A male passerby then came over to her car and attempted to wake her up, but to no avail. H

‘Kan Cheong Spider’ blindly drives into yellow junction box onto incoming traffic

TL;DR - A collision occurred in Yishun between a Kia Forte and Honda Vezel at the yellow junction box.  Every Singaporean would know what it means to be kan cheong. We are basically born to sweat ‘kiasu-ness’.  For our foreign friends, kan cheong simply means impatient, edgy and hasty. So a kan cheong spider just refers to someone who possesses such traits.  Watch this 51-second video of a Honda Vezel colliding into a Kia Forte as it drives out from a minor road straight into the

Sunshine Bread Lorry and a ComfortDelgro Taxi collide along Orchard Road, taxi loses its entire bumper

TL;DR - A taxi and a lorry collided, sending the front bumper of the taxi out onto the bustling traffic of Orchard.  A perfect example of great minds think alike - aiming for the same lane at the same time.  Watch this 107-second video to see a flying bumper.  So what happened?  A ComfortDelgro taxi and a Sunshine Bread lorry were turning right into two different lanes when the lorry sideswiped the taxi, resulting in the taxi losing its entire bumper. Cam car tries to cut into a McLaren Convoy but gets denied access by a McLaren 720s

TL;DR - Cam-car's attempt to filter behind the McLaren Convoy was disrupted by a McLaren 720S that sped past to prevent overtaking.  A perfect example of monkey on wheels.   Watch this 33-second video to see how this cam-car tried to sandwich between two McLarens but almost got 'rekt'.  So what happened? The cam-car signaled right with the intention to filter to the next lane behind the McLaren Convoy.  However, his/her attempt failed as a McLaren 720S sped up to pr

Bentley with a 'huat' carplate drives against the flow of traffic on the CTE

TL;DR - Bentley driver was caught driving against the flow of traffic, leaving traces of leaked fuel. He was eventually arrested after police reports were made.  There's just endless outrageous/appalling road incidents in Singapore. Typically, it'll either be a road rage confrontation or some sort of chain collision - which isn’t too surprising since Singaporeans are just really 'kiasu' creatures to begin with. One 'chiong', all follow suit.  But this accident is quite a rare occurrenc

Lorry fails to conform to red light and t-boned car at a discretionary right turn along Yio Chu Kang

TL;DR - Lorry collided into an oncoming car who was making a discretionary right turn at the junction of Yio Chu Kang and Buangkok Green.  Every road user should know that discretionary right turns are the cause of many road accidents in Singapore. Hence, why they are being slowly phased out. But, back to discretionary right turns. Just watch this 69-second shocker to see what I mean.  So, what happened?  The car was making a discretionary right turn and failed to notice

Cheapskate BMW driver pumps the forbidden fuel in Malaysia and gets caught

TL;DR - SG-registered BMW got called out for pumping cheap RON95 petrol in JB reserved for MY-registered vehicles only.  We all love a good cheap thrill. But not as much as this BMW driver.  Watch this 75-second video of him not giving a hoot even after being called out by the cam-car.  What happened?  A SG-registered BMW driver was seen pumping RON95 petrol in Malaysia, when it is strictly only meant for MY-registered vehicles. A taxi and a Toyota Corolla Altis travel on the fast lane of the causeway, but only one gets caught by the Malaysian police?

TL:DR – A Singaporean-registered Altis and a Trans cab travel on the fast lane of the causeway, but only the Altis gets apprehended by the Malaysian police.   There are no shortcuts in life. Likewise, in recent times, there have been no shortcuts on the causeway. If you’re sick and tired of waiting in the queue, you can always try your luck on the fast lane. You might get away with it, and you might not. Just like these two vehicles in the 43-second video below.

IS IT TIME TO CONSIDER THE SWITCH TO EVS?

Switching to an electric car gives you a smoother, emission-free drive. Much has changed since electric cars entered the scene about a decade ago. Back then, the thought of owning - or even driving - an electric car was a remote one, with few electric vehicles (EVs) and charging points available. Spotting one in public was like sighting a unicorn. Today, the EV landscape has totally transformed, with practically every brand producing EVs. They even come in a range of models - from seda

MY-registered Alphard cuts the queue at JB checkpoint and gets scratched. Driver seeking compensation.

TL;DR - A Malaysian-registered Toyota Alphard jumped in line and forced its way into a jam-packed lane at JB Checkpoint, causing his car to get scratched. The driver then demanded the cam car for compensation sparking an argument between both drivers. The New Year long weekend means more cars stuck at the causeway for a long time. But, that also means tempers will rise and the chances of a mishap occurring increases. To be honest, I would be surprised if the weekend went by without incident

Audi A4 driver arrested for drink driving in a hit-and-run accident along the PIE

TL;DR - A speeding Audi A4 driver knocks down a motorcyclist and pillion before driving away. The driver eventually gets arrested for suspected drink driving.    Drink-driving cases in Singapore are on the rise after our nations battle with Covid-19. A massive 14-vehicle collision along Bartley viaduct serves as a reminder of the dangers of tailgating

TL;DR - A horrifying accident involving 14 cars occurred along Bartley Viaduct just two days after Christmas.    If you happened to drive along the Bartley Viaduct on 27th Dec, you would have witnessed a rare (not to mention expensive for those involved) occurrence.   It's not every day you get to see 14 cars collided into one another in a straight line.  There's even a bird's eye view of the incident! Speeding lorry goes against traffic to overtake slower vehicles on a single lane

TL;DR - A lorry was seen going against traffic to overtake slower vehicles on a single lane. The driver then squeezes his way back onto its lane when the driver realises that there's oncoming traffic.  Patience is a virtue. As responsible road users, we should always keep safety at the top of our minds. This lorry driver definitely did not.  Watch this 44-second video to see why. Skoda Kodiaq vs Kia Cerato - which is the GOAT? Let's find out!

TL;DR - Two cars were seen beating the red light at Jurong Gateway, clearly intentional from the way they slowly inched out bit by bit over the stop line. GOAT stands for Greatest of All Time. As the name suggests, GOAT is an internet slang initialism used to compliment an honorable mention. But not in this case.  Watch this 63-second shocker to know what I mean. What happened? What do you call a Gojek driver with a grandmother story talking on a mobile phone while driving?

TL;DR - As if driving with one hand on the wheel and the other on your phone, this Gojek driver decided to answer a call whilst driving on a wet and rainy day. To put the cherry on top of the cake, he was riding a paying passenger. Not quite smart of a move, mister.   To answer the hypothetical question in the title: You should call the driver a biological mistake. Drivers like this do not deserve to be born. The lives of your passengers are literally in your hands! That's a

Triggered Mitsubishi Outlander driver flips '1000' birds at cam car despite being at fault

TL;DR - A Mitsubishi Outlander driver turned right on a left-only lane and got honked at by a cam car. The driver then decided to get out of his car and let his middle fingers loose. Is being or at least acting fierce, the way out of any argument? Seems like this Mitsubishi Outlander driver is a firm believer of such a mindset.  Watch this 99-second video and we’ll see if you share the same sentiments as most people after.  What happened?  In the video, we see a ver

Private bus hire blocked an entire road to 'dabao' food. Hunger truly waits for no man (or vehicle, in this case)

TL;DR - A cam car caught a private hire bus illegally parked at the roadside to packet food which prevented a long vehicle from moving. Long, extended horns were blown but to no avail as the private hire bus driver nonchantly strolls back to his vehicle.  To attain your driving license, you need to first pass your BTT, also known as your basic theory test. And to pass it, you need to know that you are not allowed to park on either side of the road, be it single or double white lines.

Queue cutters pay the price for trying to use the non-existent fast lane along the causeway

TL;DR - As Singaporeans flock into Johor Bahru for Christmas shopping, JPJ were deployed to monitor the activities to improve the effectiveness of enforcement of the roads to Malaysia.  As Christmas draws near, Singaporeans get panicky about gift shopping. And that is clearly evident from the number of cars entering into Malaysia, getting fined.  Guess we’re really living up to our Singaporean spirit - kiasu. But not quite the kiasi part.  The JPJ must be internally screaming joy

A Honda Shuttle gets its rear absolutely 'rekt' from a motorcycle at Woodlands Checkpoint. Who's at fault?

TL;DR - A Honda Shuttle driver decided it was not the day he waited in line on the way into Malaysia. Unsurprisingly, the car ended up getting rear ended by an oncoming motorcycle.   Everyone who has driven into Malaysia would know how shag it is to wait in the ‘cars only’ lane for what feels like eternity.  And of course, as humans, we tend to always find the easiest way out. Much like this Honda Shuttle. In this 40-second video, you can witness the aftermath of laziness:

Pedestrian walking along the expressway or cam car stopping on the road shoulder to scold the pedestrian - who’s the bigger road hazard?

TL;DR - Cam car saw a pedestrian walking along the expressway and stopped over to sternly warn him to not do this as it is extremely hazardous for road users. Many nasty comments were made in the midst of the argument.  Whether you own a driving license or not, one just need a tiny bit of common sense to know that it is dangerous to walk along the expressway where tons of cars are just basically zooming past every few seconds. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case for this particular ma

Driver staying at Sixth Avenue complains about Renault Kadjar blocking the gate to the house and gets immediate backlash

Netizens wasted no time sending in their two cents worth, with a vast majority ridiculing the one who made the complaint.   Cons of living in a landed property?
