Toyota Altis bodykit

Any Altis drivers who has done up their ride?

I am interested to do mine but do not know any place to go to. I see some badly done up bodykits that protrude above the surface of the existing stock bumpers. They are really bad workmanship. Some you can even see that it is not fully in contact with the bumper. The gap you can actually slot in a cashcard.

Anyone who knows of any good installation places, with good workmanship and skill???

Good luck.

I got a Mugen kit, but only installed the front lip, side skirts and rear lip.

The paintwork at Yew Lip is good, but the kit, being a replica, does not fit very well 100%.

However, I am happy with it. Will try to post some pics tomorrow.

Cheers! [thumbsup]

US cars have their lamps shining more on the right.. not advisable as it will blind right hand side drivers such as singapore.

Purpose of the angled beam is for lighting up road signs, which is on our left, whereas in states, its on the right.

Maybe you can try shops carrying for jdm camrys

If you dont mind paying a little ex for a peace of mind

I recommend Solomon Brothers (Bodykits Shop)

Rest assure it kits quality and the workmanship + paint job (3rd party installer and painter which he trusted that can do a very good job)

Solomon will personally QC it to ensure all perfectly done

I myself had changed 2 front bumpers from them

Very satisfy customer

1st of all I hv to say thks to Bro DFX for the support n recommendation, in fact gd quality of coz will make a major diff, interms of the fitment n smooth surface, but again from my experience no matter how gd is the kit, if the installer n the spray paint not work properly, also will make yr car looks awful. Anyway, in order to choose the one u like, 1st thing 1st, u hv to kw wat u type of design u r looking for as well as full bumper replacement type n add on lips type. The best is whenever u feel free pls drop by to my shop at blk 4014 #01-460 Amk Ind Park 1 Singapore so tat we can discuss further. PLs advice

Actually. For bodykit to fit nicely on the actual car is almost impossible. So to maximise all gaps and fittings, go for rivoting on your bodykit. Cuz installation is done using rivots and painters will putty over the gaps and rivot then spray. this looks like the kit is on the car body perfectly. but will crack in long term basis and nearly irreversible. Other than this, bolt on method for bodykit is not as nice. but its reversible. =)
