The captivating title race swings firmly in Leicester's favour after Spurs are held to a 1-1 draw with West Brom

The Foxes now need THREE points from their last THREE matches to be crowned BPL champions

They might not even need 3pts cos I see them getting a point at OT n Spurs also getting a draw at Chelsea so title to King Power Stadium

They deserved it thoroughly !

Consistent performance while the traditional superpower teams all failed ...

The rest of the teams were trying to play modern Football. tiki Taka..+ nice hairstyles..

Don't know how to defend.. Leceister played simple authentic Football. Don't concede. And when in the penalty n you don't know what to do just put it into the net and we can discuss options after the game.

And it will be presented by SAF.. Want to see the look in his face...

Nothing wrong playing modern football imo. Tactics and styles will have to depend on the players you have. You get the right fit, you perform better.

What I can say is that Leicester have the right players to play that counter attacking style down the flanks. They go route one and defenders basically boot out anything that comes into the box. Build from the back? Sorry, not their style.

Nice football? Not really. Effective football? Definitely.

Leicester is also extremely lucky not to have any serious injuries throughout the season.

Not in Europe and early exits in both Cup competitions help.

Less games, less chance of injury.

In fact, read somewhere that they managed to keep the same starting 11 for 87% of the games, which is highest among the teams. Could have dropped slightly now due to the suspension of Vardy.

They also got the most penalties awarded to them and one of the least awarded against them.

Lucky? Perhaps but I always say this kind of romance story normally for the FA Cup, never heard of in the League as it's over 9 months, 38 games so I give them credit for the most amazing football story ever. If they got lucky over ref decisions, injuries etc, they earned it and hope they build from here and not rest on their laurels and owner continue to invest, good luck Leicester City!! Hope they join the big boys club, no Midlands club in the big 5 or 6.

Fish and chips are easier to the mouth than salsa.

Plus Villa fans are more forgiving.

If you put aside the Birmingham City folks. [laugh]  :a-fun:

When they play next year as EPL champion and with addition of European CL games, I think it is difficult for Leicester to maintain such great statistics. The age profile of some of the first team spine may be iffy to injuries next season. They will be closely watched and those 1-0 scraps may not be so easy to replicate.

But definitely their success is not a once off.

Buying good players are easy for cash rich clubs but can the manager gel them together to work as a team .. :ninja:

ManU have many talented players but unable gel them together to form a solid team working together. One example is Depay & Memphis could not gel well....  :dizzy:

If Depay and Memphis cannot gel, not the problem of the club or manager. Clearly the player has split personality issue :D

Nice if they can do it at OT. How apt. A dream comes true at Theatre of Dream

Man United is determined to beat Leicester to secure that valuable 3 points in order to stay in the hunt for a place in top 4. It will be a very exciting game and Leicester would be beaten.

Spurs would also be beaten a day later at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea wants to stop their rival from wining the EPL title.

Leicester would be crowned EPL Champion before the kick off of their home game with Everton. Trophy would be presented in front of their home fans at King Power.

The defending Champ - Chelsea would be forming the Guard of Honours for the newly crowned Champion when they appear on the pitch at Stamford Bridge.
