not to scare anyone, but true story:

I got a friend who is a senior doctor who does not drink or smoke and no vice also. He complained of stomachache for a few weeks. Went for scope and was diagnosed with terminal gastric cancer, incurable. Died within 3months of diagnosis even with chemotherapy. Even as a doctor, he sought treatment at the earliest opportunity yet still cannot be cured.

very sad case.

now every 2 months need monitor the size go scan

ya damn irritating, burp and bloated..sometimes come, sometimes goes away

watching out my diets also

do note, that ERCP good if stones lodged within the duct. Dr may advise a keyhole surgery to remove the GB if too many stones, cholecystectomy. Drs will advise accordingly

I had similar symptom. Every day burp here and there. Take antacid also useless, cause it's not acid reflux, just that symptom is similar.

Only found out it's due to galltone when I had gallstone attack. Very painful experience on the upper right abdomen. Went to A&E SGH, and that's where I learn it's was gallstone. Ultimately the doc will recommend to remove the gall bladder.

So watch out for the pain, as it warrant a visit to the A&E.

I opt not to remove. the doc smile at me and say in his experience those who had gallstone attack will get another attack within a year or two. Strongly advise me to do it. That was more than 5 years ago. Though prior to the last attack, I remember I had at least 2 more.

I do not know why after the last attack, I had not experience any of the symptom anymore straight 5 years or so. But one major change in my life is I stopped my sedentary life style, and start running hard regularly and weight lifting. And also thanks to thread and advises from a forum member (chickenbackside) here where I practice a low carbo diet.

Consult your doctor.

4 general possible causes

a) Stomach - gastritis +- reflux

b) Irritable bowel syndrome

c) Gallstone disease

d) the scary stuff
